Does the programing under options differ depending on which fob is used? When my wife drives the car using her fob, the doors lock after she gets out. That does not happen when I drive it with my fob.
I told her she was locking the doors without realizing it, but she says she is not. Then I began to thing it might be different for different fobs. Anyone know?
The fobs that are programmed to be #1 and #2 (the numbers embossed on the fobs have nothing to do with this) have individual preferences and presets associated with them.
So your wife's fob could have Auto Lock turned on as a driver preference and your fob does not.
Get out your Owners Manual and you can sort this out along with many other usable features.
Yes, the fob programmed as fob #1 can have different options set than the fob programmed as fob #2. That includes the outside rear view mirrors, radio settings, etc..
