Plenty of threads on here about painting the wheel barrels. It's and easy Saturday project.
Just search. Someone posted about painting the wheel barrels a Rustoleum metallic silver and they really looked nice.
Black barrels on the black car look very nice, also.

That be me I have both black and sliver barrels on 2 different cars, Corvette has silver that matches factory color, ruxvette is correct, "Metallic brilliant metal finish".
The black, and I'll get a lot of crapola here, shows the dust much more, really does.
So its a matter of choice, do what you like.

One consideration is that with powder coating (which IS best) you have to take wheels to them without tires obviously, so car has to be on jack stands during the time period. They have to be re-balanced also. That may present a problem or not, whereas painting can be done with tires still mounted.
I have done both ways and for me its too much trouble to PC plus the coat was $200 so if the choice was mine , paint.
There's also Plastidip so that it is removable just in case you want to change color
Hope this helps & good luck
