No more Corvette
I sold my corvette for something slower, that can’t corner well with horrible gas mileage. I hope you all understand.
Want to thank those that contribute to this forum and helped me learn all I could about these cars. The information here is amazing, especially for those that know how to use the search function. HA!
Things I learned on this forum over the years I will remember most.
Manual transmissions are better than automatics
Rejex is better than Zaino
Z-51 badges are the best
Red is the fastest color
Joking BTW
I bought a car that I have wanted for a very long time. Who knows, maybe in the future I can get another Vette. I think they would get along.

My C6 is the car I have wanted for a very long time (at least 35 years). I'm happy that you finally have YOUR dream. Life is too short to not reach for your dream. Pretty 455 Oldsmobile you have there! Best to you and yours!!

Thanks for all the kind replies
My first automotive memory is riding in my Father's 1969 W-31 cutlass. It was really great when I picked up my Dad in my car and took him to a car show last Saturday.

That's a beautiful car. Is it a 442? When I got out of college, I was all set to buy a 442 but at $4200 it was too expensive. I settled for a Monte Carlo. That was in 1971.

Sort of a 442
The Hurst Olds started as a 69 442, but was modified with a larger engine, white and gold paint scheme, Hurst dual-gate shifter, hood scoop and some other items unique to this option. There were 907 coupes made. Mine is number 345.

Beautiful and congrats.
I love my modern 13 GS 6-speed coupe but have really always wanted a "Bandit" Trans Am from the late 70's. Damn, now you've got me thinking . . . .
Enjoy and good luck.

Congrats....great car.
When I was in College two of my friends had Hurst Olds...a 70 and 72 I think. I had my 69 C3 so we had a lot of fun.

Come on now, you couldn't have wanted a C6 for at least 35 years. LOL

Sweet Jesus it's beautiful!! One of ONLY two of the late 60s musclecars I've admired for over 40 years. Best performance Olds ever built hands-down. The other nugget of the late 60s for me was Buick's GSX.
H/Olds & GSX were very similar with their monster torque, luxury & in yo' face styling.
You lucky dog!
Now, how about some info concerning performance/ride/handling etc.
Be as close to owning one of these ultra-classics I'll ever get.
