Normal or Not
I have a 2011 Grand Sport with the stock Navigation / CD system.
One of the first things I do after starting the engine is turn on the radio. Well at least I try to, but there seems to be about a 10 to 15 second delay before the power button will be responsive. The screen will just display the Corvette logo, but pushing the power button has no affect.
Is this something I should have looked at or is it just the nature of the beast?

Any reason you turn the stereo off every time you turn the car off?

Force of habit I guess. I shut everything down; A/C, radio, etc... prior to killing the engine.

I'm thinking it would be fun to add a new section to the forum...it would be called "Normal or Not"...

Just don't turn it off. There is no reason to turn it off. It will keep playing for you until you open the door.

I always leave the radio on. Problem is when someone rides with me and the last trip I had the radio up loud. Start the car and can't turn the volume down for a few seconds.
