Problem with FOB, Need Advice
Having an issue with my 2011 C6 GS.
Got in the car okay. Window retracts/raises slightly as door opened/closed (situation normal). When starting the car, "NO FOBS DETECTED" warning message. Tried this with both the number 1 and number 2 FOB.
Drove the car last week. Has been in the garage since. Weather has been about normal (high 60's, low 40's).
Please advise.

Might not be a FOB issue, might be a battery issue ... on more then one occasion when I've had a bad/dead battery, I've gotten the 'FOB not detected message'. I would start with having the battery tested...good luck and hopefully it's an easy fix
Will try that this evening. In the meantime, I have a question: If the battery was dead, wouldn't the windows not lower/raise when doors are opened/closed?
Thanks. Will let you know how this works out.

Just remember that if the car battery is disconnected (or replaced), then after a battery is reconnected (either the old one or a new one), you'll have to reset the window indexing.
With the engine running and the window down, close the car door. Raise the window and hold the up switch an extra 3 seconds. Release. Without lowering the window, hold the up switch again for 3 seconds. Release. Done. Don't forget the other window.
This will need to be done to both windows every time the car battery is disconnected, then reconnected.

Looks like you got it under control, but If this happens you can try to insert the fob into the slot on the left side of the glove box, buttons toward passenger side and try to start the car.
If it starts, then it is either Radio interference (outside of your control or your cell phone or charger, etc) or the Battery in the Fob is dead or really weak.
If it doesn't start, then the problem isn't the fob but is with the car. (weak car battery, or the fob receiver are most common)

Update on the issue referenced above.
Car started and driven to work with no problems. Battery voltage was between 14.0-14.5 volts (based on gauge, did not check DIC for value). Must have been signal interference from an unknown source.
I have had this car almost 5 years and never knew about the FOB slot regarding the glove box. Still a lot to learn regarding this car.
Thanks. Knew I could count on CF to assist with this problem.
