Default Wife wants to buy me something for my car

She wants to get me a X-Mas present and she wants it to be for my car.

I have a 07 Z51 coupe 3lt. I have XM capability radio (No Nav) and there isn't a USB port in this model. I want to have blue tooth and be able to connect my iPhone capability. I reviewed the PAL and the version 2 PAL sounds good. I am confessed. My 02 had an isimple cable and worked good for the iPod. I have an iphone 6 and the cables are different that come with most PAL's. It looks like its only for the old iPods. I don't want to use the simple because I don't want tear the dash out. (PITA). There is the XM radio behind the seat. So I prefer to use the most updated version of the PAL. Seems like there not available.

Any thoughts and all inputs are welcome. I did go to the sticky thread. still confused.

Merry Christmas and Happy new Year!
Thanks,
Paul

Take a look at this site there are many options for what you want to do. I have been studying on this for a while and I almost have it figured out. He is a supporting vendor

A rear bumper bib is always a good idea.

On Kawai site noted above, the Aux 2 will allow you to play music through the system in your car but no Bluetooth. He says he has tested a lot of Bluetooth units and the best is. kinovo. He has a write up on it on his page. You can e mail Ray as well. Very helpful guy.

Version 2 PAL does not have Bluetooth. I used to use the V2 PAL but then I upgraded to a new head unit. If you want you can try my PAL unit, I just have to see where I put it, and try and see if a lightning adapter will work.

Upgrading head unit gives you so many more features like Bluetooth, rear camera and in your case nav if you want it. It is not a difficult install, everything is plug and play.

I use the original PAL. I gave Kawal the idea for what I'm doing currently (plug a Bluetooth module directly into the PAL). Gives wireless Bluetooth streaming. I came up with this method because I hate Apple products and wanted the PAL working with an Android device. See video for it in action...

Ok cool. Thanks. I'm always at the Captree car show on Sunday mornings.
Won't be there this Sunday for I have too many people at the house for the holiday's.

PM me if you are going or we can meet anytime anywhere. Thanks I appreciate it

Merry Christmas

I would say: C6 CENTER CONSOLE/CUP HOLDER INSULATOR COMBO & DSVettes Padded Leather Center Console - http://www.topflightrepro.com/corvet...products.shtml

The padded console lid is real nice for long drives.

The Vitesse Throttle Control Module is a joke...makes the car no quicker. Just hit the gas pedal harder/faster for same effect.

Might as well chrome the car out too while you're at it...

Oh c'mon man! This coming from a dude with a supercharger? Of course your experience is much different than most (but I'm still jelly over that exhaust and SC!).
