The guy in the Mustang not only killed another entire family, he was risking the life of a child in his own car. It's just not worth it to race ... or if he wasn't racing, he was at least driving too fast. It didn't say if alcohol or drugs was involved.
Mustang drivers seem to have a habit of losing control due to the back end getting loose. I've seen them jump curbs several times and rip up rear suspension parts at the drags.
It doesn't take a whole lot of speed to have a deadly head-on impact. 30 MPH is more than enough to kill people.
