I went for a drive last night, everything was going great till the yellow engine light came on and stayed on. Any ideas short if a trip to the dealer on Monday?
I have an android phone and an ELM-327 bluetooth OBD reader. When my light comes on, I read it, clear it, and then wait for it to come back. So far it hasn't.

First step is to read the fault code & then go from there. Stop by any auto parts retailer like Auto Zone or Pep Boys & they will read the code for you. In some cases, it may just be an electronic gremlin that may clear itself by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 3 or 4 minutes & then reconnecting (you will have to re-index your windows). But it other cases, the code may indicate a real problem. Once you have the code, you can do a search here for cause & correction,
I bought a code reader from Amazon and find it handy. Like another poster said, it's probably a loose gas cap but won't clear itself until several start/stop cycles after tightening. You can reset by disconnecting the battery (then you may lose radio settings, you'll have to reindex the windows, etc.) or you can clear with the code reader.
Generally speaking, a solid Check Engine Light isn't an emergency but a flashing CEL means you should not drive the car.
When you push the door open button, the window rolls down a hair. After it's closed, it goes back up...INDEXING. After you remove your battery, the memory is cleared and must be re-indexed so you get the down and up back. There should be a procedure in your manual for it.
I don't know what happens if you fail to do that....probably some sort of voodoo curse or so.

He won't be able to operate the top, for one thing.
Basically, you pull up on the window switches and hold at the top for ~3 seconds, lower the windows and repeat.
