Ok with my c5 never felt this, but didn't have GY run flats. When turning at very low speeds, as pulling out of my driveway or parking lot, front feels like the tires are grabbing, similar to the what a 4x4 feels when turning on a dry road. This is when you turn the wheel hard left or right, making a tight turn. This normal for these run flats?
See if you feel the same sensation after your car is warm and driven for awhile.
If I'm backing up with the car cold, I can really feel the rear end clutch pack creating this skipping sensation.
I wonder if the rear is contributing to this feeling when going forward also.
My Michelin PSS non-runflats do it too when it's cold and the ground is wet. I think it's more a function of summer tires in cold weather than it is tire width. They just lose grip.
Holy Crap...I thought it was only my car. Thank you. I have GY run flats n they do the same s#%t. I don't like it. I will be changing them in the spring.
