Default Question on memory seats

hi guys,

Happy new year to you all since I haven't been here for a while.

My car was driven by my wife for a few days while I was away and now whenever I start the car up it automatically gets into memory option 2 (my wife's one)

How on earth do I get it to be position 1 by default again. I'm too annoyed to dive into the owners manual before bed. if anyone knows the answer you'll make a frenchman happy.

You can also reset the seat to your liking and program it in. Just a matter of pushing and holding the button on the door.

No, that's why there are 2 fobs, one programmed as fob #1, the other one programmed as fob #2, for 2 different drivers. Also, so those 2 different drivers can have different options set in memory.

Use FOB 1 and program to your liking then push both buttons on the door, but that would **** your wife off............................

I would venture to say your wife hit and held #1 on the door while she was driving and reset her settings onto your presets.

Just reset your preferences and hit and hold #1. Good to go again.

Yep, and remind the wife that each fob will have it own programming. So if the wife wants to just jump in the car and have it set up to her, then have her use fob 2 and program the car to her with that fob. If she just happens to grab fob 1 to use the car, then when she gets in it, have her press #2 on the door, and the car will adjust back to her fob 2 settings.

As for setting up fob2/memory 2, have her adjust the car they way she wants it, then press and hold the memory 2 button on the door until the car beeps.
Note, when she is adjusting the car the way she wants it, get in the passenger seat and adjust that seat the way you want it. It will save you from having to get in the car with your knees tight against the dash, head bouncing off the roof if you end up riding shotgun when you first get in the car before readjusting it (read woman love to adjust the passenger seat up forward and tall in the saddle for some reason).
