I have a problem and do not know what to do at this point. I had a cam installed and full exhaust with a dyno tune. I contacted the shop that performed the work, and I told him that the car tries to die at a stoplight with the brake on and while in drive. The car idles down to 450rpm and throws a code, which he says is a low idle code. So, I purchase the EFI live Autocal with the new tweaked tune, and go to install and it shows error code $035B. So now the shop has closed down and all phone numbers have been turned off and no response to my email. The car is a '12 Grand Sport A6. What in the world can I do?
Thanks in Advance!
Well, if the shop has closed its doors and no more phone service, sounds like you will need to find a new shop that can retune the car. You could also contact your local government consumers protection department and see what they can do for you.
Call your credit card company and dispute the charge.
I would go to another tuner even if it means a little driving. Who knows what else if off? Take any dyno sheet with you and cam specks. It's the air/fuel that could get you. Did u get a dyno sheet when he was done. Just make sure the engine is not lean.

I did think about the credit card, although I did receive the programmer. I am just scared that this tune is locked. I downloaded efi live and it shows a tweaked tune but I cannot access it. I even downloaded teamviewer so he could login to my computer but now without a response or any contact info, I am at a loss...
It could be too much cam for your converter. You may need a higher stall speed.
It should not be. I had a custom grind. It is a 220/232 615/620 on 118+4. Car drives smooth until at stop with brake on. I have to throw it in neutral when I come to a complete stop.
Take it to a reputable shop for a proper tune. Sorry you got burned.
I did! They were a vendor on here and had many positive reviews and now I am stuck. I did my research and I have had many other modified cars, but this was my first Chevy to modify. I love the car just need help to figure out what to do.....
[QUOTE=Don-Vette;1591252326]Wow!! Forum vendor, I'd rat them out in a minute. Good luck.[/QUOTE
Well they are not in business any longer! I just hate to drag a name in the mud! No one can do business with them any longer so I feel like there is no point... Maybe I am wrong..

Unless of course they re-appear with a new name, if i got burned i would drag their name through the mud, maybe you could stop somebody else from getting burned. and i'm curious who it is
There have been a vendor or two who have returned. I would bet they are on a short leash with the forum mods/owners to an extent. For that reason, I would first contact Jim "Savewave" and tell him your case before you call out a vendor.
As to your car, you sound you know what you're doing, but WADR you could be messing up whatever was the tune. All I can suggest is you find another very qualified tuner, and get your car there. And hope they can crack the code and hopefully you won't have to buy another ECM.
Good luck and come back and tell us how it all turns out.

I don't want anyone else to get burned. I just don't like dragging anyone through the mud.
