Auto dimming mirror
Can anyone give me a quick solution to removing the harness from the back of my rear view mirror? I'm going to install a Mirror Tap and don't want to just start pulling and break something. Thanks!

Feel for the release tab on the connector, on the back of the mirror, it is on the top of it, push it down and gently wiggle the connector away from the mirror, preferably not pulling on the wires but on the connector itself. It is pretty simple.

Thank you so much. I found the release tab, pulled gently down and out and bingo! I also used a meter and found ground and ignition 12v while I was in there.
