I'm going to be replacing the speakers in the doors tomorrow and figure I might as well replace the door panel grommets and pins while I'm at it. I've had the panels off before but didn't look too closely at the grommets... Do I just pop these out with a flathead? How do they come out exactly - are they glued in or just pins hold them?

When putting the new ones in, do I need to use an adhesive on them, such as epoxy?

Thanks for any advice... just want to make sure I'm prepared once I get the panels off.

I wouldn't worry about the grommets in the door. I'd just have a few extra pins on hand in case any break, IMO.

Yea, I already have the grommets and fasteners. I was just curious about how the grommets adhere to the door itself. Is it just the barbs on the sides that hold it in or does it need epoxy as well?
