Default mild to wild switch

Just bought my 07 Z06, and the mild to wild key fob is not working. The batteries are working, and it lights up when i press on or off, but nothing happens. I pulled the fuse just to make sure the valve is working, and it is working just fine. Since this is my first C6, where is the first place to check as to why my fob is not opening and closing the butterfly valves? The fuse was not blown. Thank you!

The engine was running when you did the test, right? It does take a few seconds to close it.

Yeah it was running, and nothing happened.

Go through the instructions again and make sure everything is hooked up exactly right. If you ground to the wrong screw it supposedly wont work.

I installed one in my wife's 2008 a week or so after Christmas and it works like a champ.

Really cool product!

Good luck.

During the process of elimination here, I found a box with wires coming from in in the fuse panel on the passenger side. So I followed said wires to a box that says mild to wild. Everything appears to be plugged in, and it is grounded. I plugged it in to the npp fuse spot, and nothing happened. I plug a regular fuse in, and the valves operate as they should. So where do I go from here? I did not install it, as the car came with it and it was unplugged when I got the car. Again, whenever I followed the wires it was tightly grounded to the area where the amplifier for the bose system is. Any help is appreciated..

I can't help with the remote control problems, but we put in the foot switch version immediately after getting our 2009 and it still works perfectly at 89k miles.

The switch is installed on the dead pedal, like an old fashioned dimmer switch. I wonder how hard/expensive it would be to convert yours? No clicker to lose/fail/battery dead.

Disregard if you want to stay with the remote.

So I found and fixed the problem. I went through everything, and the last thing to check was the battery in the fob. The light was coming on, but it wasn't doing anything. I changed the battery and voila.. It works! Thanks for all of the input.
