Is your Corvette a he or a she?
I just got my C6 a few weeks ago and haven't had a chance to look underneath the car yet to tell if it's a boy or girl....I'll let you know when I do........WW

If it scrapes a lot, it might be a 'he' hanging them LOW

Me too. My daily driver is my wife, quality, classy, reliable, economical. The vette is the mistress. Expensive, flashy, demanding, and temperamental. However i also have two names for it, from the outside it is Olivia (it has the curves of Olivia newton john from movie grease with the black tights and high heel slip ons) while behind the wheel Arnold S. We all know who that is. So does this make it bi?

To me, my vette has just always been an inanimate object of power and representation of fine man-made engineering. Applying life to an inanimate object as a 'he' or 'she' was something I did when I was a kid.
So.....
TRUE STORY: When I was 9 years old, my father was trading in a 69' Lemans 350-V8 (non-GTO) for a 30-mpg 82' Honda at a dealership. He was a cheap old man, so the 30 mpg car was a big deal and the Lemans had to go. So when I went with him to sign the papers, to turn the Lemans in, and drive home the Honda...I remember feeling sorry for the Lemans. He was part of the family for so many years since 1969 and we were kicking him out. I didn't know how to feel about trading in our beloved American V8 for a *** car. So as a 9 year old, I believed that I had the powers within me to "transfer spirits" (I watched a lot of "The Powers of Matthew Star" back then). As my father was inside the dealership signing papers, I was out in the parking lot and went over to the Lemans and ran my hand like a wand over the car. I went back over to the Honda and ran my hand over the car to "transfer spirits". I transferred the spirit of the Lemans over to the Honda so in my mind he was still in the family and coming back home with us that day. Yes, I was a weird kid growing up.
These were the identical models. I wish I had the green Lemans today! I can't believe he traded it in back then. They gave him $400 for it LOL LOL My mom didn't care, because it was so cool that the Honda had an FM radio and the Lemans only had AM. LOL.

I often refer to mine as the Beast ...and when I had my P-928S (black/black) I used to call it the Batmobile...
but our other vehicles don't have any nicknames.
