I just pulled one of mine a few days ago, hit the prongs and the board with steel wool until shiny, put it back in and now it works perfectly...Total time , about 5 minites......WW

I recently discovered Radio Shack was purchased by another company and some of the stores are open. As a service engineer one of my favorite things I always used was control/contact cleaner and lubricant. In the old days it was known as tv tuner cleaner. It cleans the contacts and lubricates them to prevent further oxidation and does not conduct electricity. I've used this stuff for 30 years on all electrical connections where it is subject to moisture or humidity. Great stuff. Just clean the contacts first with fine grit sandpaper.
