Default Hyper flash question

I came across this little device and was wondering, if this would remedy the hyper flash issue when using leds for turn signals? Has anyone heard of this or used it?

Looks to be just a different version of a $5 resistor. That's the only thing that cures the hyperflash.

Our cars are not "hardwired" for turn signals, with old-school flashers. We have a computer controlled turn signal through the BCM (body control module), that "sees" the resistance of the bulbs. An LED has little resistance compared to a regular bulb, and that's what causes the hyperflash. The resistor tricks the BCM to see the correct resistance, and then does not hyperflash.

So, for us, you don't save any energy or use less energy, becuase the resistor + led bulb = same as regular bulb. BUT the amount of Light output (Lumens) of the LEDs is much higher than the regular bulbs, and they have an instant on/off, so they are much clearer.

That's exactly the information I was looking for. Thanks so much!!

I have Eagle Eye LED tails & when I had LED front turns in (with your standard resistor) and had issues. Without the Eagle Eye tails, the front LED turns worked perfectly.

I recently ordered the parts pictured above so I will be trying them soon to see if they allow me to have working LED fronts w/the LED tails.

Great! Update us when you get it installed. I've heard of people having issues with the eagle eyes and led front turn signals being used together. I ended up picking just the eagle eyes to install. Didn't want issues.
