Your a Wildman Billy, jumpin right in there You going "cat less" ???
NSF
NSF, I know nothing about headers so I have no clue where I'm going. seriously, not being mechanically inclined I have a shop here in my area that does whatever I need done on my car. All I know is that I'm thinking of putting a set of headers on my car and I WANT TO KEEP my npp exahaust. If that means going without the "cats" that's fine. Let me ask you, if you were going with headers, what approach would you take?

As far as I know you CAN keep your NPP AND have headers with cats, which is the only way I will/would do it. All that you need is for the X pipe to have a 2.5" exit so that it matches up with your stock exhaust.
The ones you are dealing with just needs the correct cats & X pipe, but I'm no expert.
Your Vette I believe has 4 cats (2012 and later) so you would wind up with just 2, whereas the 2011 only has 2 to begin with.
I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will chime in.
This is why I asked when Hinson would offer a complete package
Good luck Buddy

Exactly .... That is what I have on my 2011 GS.
In my case, I installed a set of Pfadt headers along with the Pfadt catted X-pipe (you can get the matching X-pipe with cats or without cats).
The ends of the X-pipe will attach perfectly to your existing NPP over the axle muffler system (nothing else needed to buy).
If you have a base Corvette, or a GS, make sure you order the X-pipe made for the Base or GS car. This X-pipe will have the 2.5" diameter ends on the X-pipe that matches up with the 2.5" diameter inlet pipes on your existing muffler system.
However, if you have a Z06, you need to order the X-pipe made for the Z06. The ends of the X-pipes expand out to 3" so as to attach to the larger 3" inlet pipes on the end of the Z06's muffler system.

Catless will need a tuner to turn off the rear O2 sensors or you will get a CEL. A tune would be a good idea anyway you go.
so then it won't hinder the performance of the headers install without a tune? Am I missing something here? then why is everyone so uppity on getting a tune when installing headers? I know, a lot of questions.
A tune is best to optimize the headers. Also an intake is recommended in conjunction with the headers/exhaust.
More air in and more air out changes things a little.
But to answer your question, headers installed without a tune won't damage or harm a thing, but you will be missing out on performance.

ahh, you answered my question, thank you very much.

Forum says the OEM intake far surpasses the air supply needs of a stock motor I believe ????
If I do headers AND cats I will still get a before and after tune on a dyno to know just what I spent all that money on

Yup ... The OEM air filter on the LS3 is the same as is on the LS7 / Z06 engine.
If this filter will supply enough air for a 505 HP LS7 engine, don't you think it will also supply enough air for your 436 HP LS3?

As far as a dyno tune after installing headers .... You will be missing RWHP if you don't.
