Default corvette question ??
I have a 2010 gransport corvette jetstream blue 3lt ! It has 30500 miles I got it with 27000 love the car ! But I was thinking of getting a 2008 z06 jetstream blue with 39000 even trade at a dealer car is a on owner all stock very clean like mine !! Is it worth it ?? Thanks for your help!

Tough call, obviously the dealer values your car more than the z06 otherwise he wouldn't be willing to do a straight up trade. It should be an easy choice for you, just drive the z06 and decide. If you do end up buying the z, make sure to budget a few grand to fix the heads.

How much to fix ? My aunts husband owns the car and is selling it through his own dealership ! He baby's the car but don't want a ticking time bomb lol ! They both blue book almost the same ! Is the z06 worth getting or am I better off fixing up mine ?

The Z06 will be a stiffer rougher ride compared to the GS. But the Z06 has more HP. Do you need the extra HP? What are your plans on fixing your GS.

How often do you take the roof off of the GS? If it's fairly frequent, you'll miss that with the Z.

If you drive it hard and like auto x or track days, the Z06 is the perfect car. If you mainly use your car for cruising, keep the GS.

I'm sure some folks DD their Z06, but I dont think I would want to. Is your GS an auto or 6 speed? The Z06 is 6 speed, if that makes a difference also.

It's a six speed don't like auto ! I like taking off the top but don't mind a coupe ! Had a electron blue 04 c5 z06 few years back ! How bad will a z06 beat me !

If you really want a Z06 in your mind........

Then you must buy the Z06.

If you want a wide body and the roof to come off and smoother ride......

Then keep what you got.

If it were me and I knew there were no issues with the Z, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat. It's a no brainer in my opinion.
