For all you vert owners. Do you have a windscreen and are they worth the money? Did not have one on my 92 vert because did not like what was available. But re-thinking now that I have my new to me 06 vert. Thanks in advance for you input. SAVE THE WAVE

I have a Windscreen from CCA, Custom Corvette Accesories that is easily removable or leave in with the top up or down. I also have it highlighted with a plug in in the center console. Red is the color of the light, It highlights the edge of the unit. Very nice looking product and functional as far as wind noise
I had both the removable and permanent screen for my C5 (mostly for the wife), very little value added in regards to wind deflection. When considering for the C6 it was a thumbs down by both my wife and myself.

Ours is the same as 2008, except we don't think ours does any great job of deflecting the wind back wash coming from the back of the car. The thing looks cool, however.
We trudge on.

I have the Windrestrictor on my C6, and I think it's terrific!!!
My wife and I take road trips of up to 6000 miles, always with the top down, and the Windrestrictor makes a big difference. It particularly works well with the side windows up.
Yeah, I know, people say it looks terrible with the side windows up, but when you spend 8 to 10 hours at 70+ mph speeds, it helps a lot. Besides, with the windrestrictor, and the side windows up, you can talk, not shout to one another, and you can hear the radio. The whole idea of our road trips is to see the USA in our Chevrolet, and the way to do it is with the top down, and in comfort.
I have the lighted Windrestrictor with the Jake emblem etched in it. I've gotten a bunch of positive comments on it. As far as does it work - it definitely cuts the backwash wind down considerably, even with the windows down all the way. They are pricey and I debated whether I wanted to spend the money. I found a listing on eBay directly from Windrestrictor with a best-price offer; I ended up with the lighted, etched model for less than Internet or forum vendor pricing for the plain, unlighted model. I would definitely buy it again.
Thanks for all the info. I think I will use my money to clear bra the car now and think about the windscreen. It will be a while before I need to worry about it here in Oregon(LOL). SAVE THE WAVE
