Gentlemen, My buddy just bought a 2005 Yellow convertible and absolutely loves it. My last Vette was a C5. I remember being able to access system errors on the DIC. I can't remember how I did it or even if is the same on a C6..
Would someone be so kind as to post the sequence of buttons needed to read and clear the codes.
Thanks in advance.

Get a elm327 blue tooth or wi-fi for around $10, and you can use your smart phone to read and clean codes instead
Plus with a elm327 device in hand, you can use something like Scanmaster-elm on your laptop to do real time data pulls on the motor to check for problems, long before the error happens enough times for the car to actually throw a code in the first place.
A good, not expensive, elm is a must, check amazon. I use (android) Torque Pro OBD 2 & Car on a Samsung tablet. You can set this up for different real time info besides reading and clearing codes.
The ELM is a great way to go. I got one made by BAFX on Amazon for $14 on sale and it works great with an Android phone or tablet. Real time info, codes, clearing codes...does it all using an Android device that (hopefully) you already have.
