Default Spring Fever for CNY

Yesterday the temperature was almost 60 degrees with the sun shining and it was hard not to get the itch for my Corvette to be let loose from the winter storage barn. Although in my mind I know the snow, ice, salt, and calcium are ready to dumped at any moment. I had my new wheels mounted to the new tires (pictured below), painted wide body rear fender kit on order, rear spoiler and side skirts dealer painted to match and ready to install, new blacked out led tail lights, and blacked out side marker lights ready for instillation, Borla Atak cat back stainless exhaust on order and finally the Alpine touch screen navigation blue tooth back up camera stereo ready for instillation. Wow once I started to add this up it means being really busy when Spring does finally get here. Anyone else up here in the north east feeling it ?

New wheels and tires together at last.

I'm near Canandaigua. Too much SALT on the road, plus too much snow in front of barn where Vette is.

A few more weeks.

Awesome Brother I'm not feeling alone here then. You know mother nature is just sitting there ready to slap us with at least one more big one. My Tahoe's rear is full of Vette tires right now...lol

So far this winter I was itching and scratching everyday. We were driving our cars till mid January. Once the snow dropped it's crap, I parked it. With all the rain a few weeks ago washed the crap away. I had ARH installed, tuned n CAI. Sounds and drive fantastic! With that done, I was still itching. So I ordered new shoes...285/35ZR-19 MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S PLUS ZP RUN FLAT and 245/40ZR-18 MICHELIN PILOT SPORT A/S PLUS ZP RUN FLAT.
They are being installed as I write this!

What else can I do before spring actually arrives. LOL.

Have fun!

I feel ya. I've got a bedroom full of parts to install with no where to store them.

If I can get the C6 out of the barn and all the installations are done, I just might.

We have no snow on the ground, but still some salt residue and sand.
I'll wait until April 1 until I register it for the road for 2016.
Can't wait!

not sure what part of this 'Hillbilly' county you live in but here in D'town / West Bradford / C'ville area the crap from last weeks storm has made these roads a mess, combined with the anti-skid (Crushed limestone) that those morons from Penn Dot and local Townships put down it will be a while till I get mine out.

I've been in Florida this past week, Miami for a few days and Delray Beach a few days. I can't wait until I move here and get out of New England weather and enjoy the vette yearly.

I'm with ya Brother. Here in CNY you can still see the calcium they use here with the salt and sand and that is just as bad. There's still snow on the ground here too. So I guess I can say I'm a little jealous of y'all down yonder and out west. Spring is comin here soon, hopefully.

I'm not jealous of where anybody may live. I love where I live. My family has been in western NY since 1803. All my friends are here. I've been in the same house since 1982.

All of this stuff is way more important to me than any car/toy, or what the temperature may be outside on any given day.

Webster, NY here. Had it out about a month ago when we last hit 50 for a couple days. Next week might be a possibility if the forecast holds true.

That's cool Brother, I wish I could come and go with mine. Mine is in a barn with no access until the dude unlocks the barn for me where it's stored. The snow piles are too big in front of the barn...lol
