Hi, I'm glad to be part of the corvette world. I'm a corvette rookie but I was wondering why the only two exhaust pipes are the only ones turning black from fuel? I own a 2011 GS with 6,00 miles.
You probably have the dual mode option. Is your car really quiet? Are there two butterfly valves on the two inside pipes? They only open up over 3500 rpm or if you pull the fuse or get the M2W type switch.

Yes sir I do have the dual mode option and did have the remote installed. The two inside tubes are the ones that turn black. I just thought it was running rich, I don't hot rod it or maybe I should.

Just the nature of the beast. Drive it like you stole it. That's what it is made for.

That is just normal build up. Driving it hard won't hurt, but it will turn the pipes black a lot quicker.
