Low oil temp....?

2006 ls2...says low oil temperature..does anyone no what this means ...Will this hurt my engine.
Changed oil about 200 miles ago.thanks everyone

You should be able to read your oil temp on the DIC. Check that and see what it reads.

I would guess that on an 06 LS2 that gives you that warning, that the sensor is bad..

A low oil temp warning was pretty common in C5's when it was cold outside... like 15 degrees or less. Seems less common in the C6 but obviously it can still occur. It won't hurt anything as long as you have the proper viscosity oil in it.
