I am in the market for at C6 Grand Sport and think I may have found one. The problem is that it is that the car is in New Bern NC and my work has me heading to the west coast & Baja peninsula for the next couple of weeks. If any forum member is in the area and might be willing to check it out, it would be much appreciated. Fee based or free, either is ok. Please shoot me a PM if willing. I have been vette-less since 1987 and I am on a mission to remedy that situation.....
Have the dealer email you very close and detailed pictures. I just bought one in VA and I'm in NY.Had them send pics galore and i looked at what they put online too. Sent a truck down and she is in my garage now...and I worked the trade I had the same way.
That may end up being my only option. The car meets my requirements from an option and number of previous owners perspective. It may take a bit of a leap of faith (and a bunch of photos) given my circumstances.
I could not reach agreement with the dealer in NC on what the car was worth. The dealer did not want to move hardly any off the number. I have found another in the Pittsburgh area. Same request if anyone is willing to check it out, fee based or free, please PM. Its about 3 miles from the Pittsburgh airport for anyone familiar with the area. A big thank you to Tim Coltrain and his buds in the club for photos on the New Bern car.

It's Spring, an early one up north at that.
Official car-buying season's begun now, where in an ordinary (snowed-in) year there'd be another month before the rush begins.
Spring's the time when preowned Corvettes (& all other SC marques, FTM) command their highest top dollar & won't last long. What's worse is dealers are in the game, not just the general public.
Don't permit a grand or 2 getting in the way of a solid clean Corvette.
Above member's advise is sound, actively pursue dealers w/ a GS you'd like & get lots of pics. But move, other eyeballs are looking & ready to pounce now more than ever. G/L
