I might be able to help. Do you by chance have NAV? If so, it could very possibly be a VSS bypass switch. Flip the switch while on the screen where you can put in a destination and it will bypass the lock out. It will allow you to put in an address while moving. It will time out and you will otherwise notice no difference. The street, city, etc will light up and respond to touch if that what it's for.
You can also trace the wires to point of connection. VSS point of termination is the wire harness behind the NAV. I believe it's pink with a white stripe? The switch does not draw any power.

IMO, that is major wacky behavior on the part of your Brother. Did someone drop him on his head when he was a Kid?

Well, i Finally Found out what it was when i took it in for service, when inspecting the front bumper we saw signs of a radar device that was hooked up, in the mouth section of the bumper, however the previous owner took out the system, so its pretty much an empty switch for now. Either way thanks to all for guessing, it was a fun game

Who are you?
I think hitting that switch put you in an alternate parallel universe.
Actually this is hell. You are posting on the Mustang forum.
Some great funny responses here. At least at some time if you want to hook up something that requires a switch, you have a built in switch now. Or when you're driving with someone that doesn't know better you can tell them it engages the camouflage mode.
This will put an end to this topic, I took apart the gauage cluster, and sure enough the switch isn't connected to anything. Thanks for all the wild answers.
