homelink
Need some help..
I program my Homelink to one garage door and after a couple of days it picks up my other door and both open at the same time and close.
I clear the homelink and reprogram and it does it again.
Do I need a new homelink visor because I warranty on the car until June ?

I only have one opener for a double size door, so I would think that you can probably do something in the other opener so it won't recognize the homelnk.
The owners manual has the instructions, and your garage door opener(s) instructions should have a way to disable a remote opener with the homelink frequency.
Good luck

If your Garage Door Opener (Genie or other similar) uses the rolling code, you typically have to press a small button on the actual garage motor mounted on the ceiling. It's hiding behind the plastic cover, beside the light bulb - a small black peg. You have something like 45 seconds to get off the latter and run back to homelink and press the homelink button you want to "learn". Worked instantly for me.

Ummmmm, I would never give up trying to find a way to disable the other door. There has to be a way
I doubt if it's anything to do with the homelink on the sunvisor. You can try to get a new one before the warranty runs out, if there is no other way to solve the issue.
Good Luck

I might suggest clearing both openers and then re-program any remotes that you have...including the one in the car. Usually this involves holding the learn button for some extended period of time.

Security+ Purple came out in 2003...I would expect that your visor remote should work. The two step programming process is important. Holding the two remotes near eachother will set the visor to the 315mhz, then using the learn button on the opener unit synchonizes the rolling codes. It might be worth giving it another try when you have some time.
