It would be a real pain to try to add fans to a C7 seat that doesn't already have them. You're talking cutting foam to fit the fans, adding and routing the wiring, etc. There are two fans in the base and one in the back, so you're taking the entire seat completely apart. Then factor in the perforated leather as StayinStock mentioned.

Nothing is impossible but I've done the C7 seat swap with the fans and would not want to build it from scratch.

Honestly me too, one day I think I will convert my GT seats to Comps. They look so good.

That is what I was wondering. Essentially does it just bolt into an open slot and already have a connector there to plug in? If that was the case I'd just buy a perforated bottom seat cover. I have to buy the c7-to-c6 harness anyway.
I would like to hold off on ventilated ones but the right seats came along at the right price. And the lumbar bladder on the C6 deflates so quickly that it hurts my back to spend any amount of time in the car.

Unfortunately no, it's not that easy from what I could tell when I was working on my seats and comparing to others. The wiring definitely isn't already there and the foams are different to account for the fans and airflow.

Yeah, I live in the south. Every vehicle I own should have ventilated seats. I could care less about heated seats.
