C6 front splitter

Hi I am looking into buying a front splitter from C7 carbon. Does anyone know how they install? Is it a job I could do without a lift?

Probably can do it on ramps/jack stands. I had mine installed, a long with the side skirts, at a local shop for $100.00

What does it fasten with? Pop rivets or screw and nut. Just thin plastic to fasten to.

I just received my painted splitter from RPI design. It installs with screws similar to the ones holding on the black plastic front piece and also red 3m tape.

Installing the C7 Carbon splitter by itself can be done by one person without a lift in an afternoon. However, if you are planning to add the bumper fascia reinforcement, it's a bigger job since the entire front bumper will need to be removed. It's still not difficult, and can be done in a day if you are organized. A second pair of hands can come in handy when you are R&R'ing the bumper to keep things lined up.
If you drive your car at high speeds occasionally, I would highly recommend the bumper reinforcement as it keeps the bumper from deforming and holding the splitter in place properly at triple digit speeds.
