Default New leather seat covers

Just got the leather seat covers in from Interior innovations. Went with the black all leather and dark gray alcantara inserts/gray stitching. Very impressed with quality as they are much better than the ones I put in my C5. Also got the half leather half alcantara shift/e brake boots and console cover. When both installed, I will work out some of the wrinkles with my heat gun.

Very nice! Did you do any cushion work? I intend to upgrade my stock C6 seats this year.

Thanks! Just used my steamer to puff up the original foam on passenger side and I bought a new bottom for the drivers

Looks great! Did you install yourself?

I did mine over a year ago and they have held up great. I didn't buy the console cover or shift boots but with the options on the seats, the price was great. If I remember it was around 295.00 for both.

Yours look awesome! Yes, I just watch the videos and took my time. Couldn't see paying $400 just to let someone install. $200 probably, $400, no thanks!

Yes. I did the same. It takes some time but was well worth it. Again. Nice work

Does the alcantara develop sort of a shine after a bit of use? Seems to me like real suede does ... just wondered how the synthetic stuff would hold up.

I had them on my C5 for 5 months before I traded for my C6 and they looked the same as when new.

Nice. How does the leather feel compared to OE, as in suppleness, texture?

Really blows it away. It is really quite soft and smells incredible. What really surprised me was the thickness of the leather. Reminded me of my leather bomber jacket.

They look great I've been on the fence about ordering a set from the same place, as well as leery about installing them myself. After seeing you pics & reading your review/post, going to pull the trigger

Just make sure you give yourself plenty of time to install. There's a great youtube video and a how to thread on this site that I followed.

There are a few differences between instructions but there's enough info to get them done.

A couple of tips.
You don't need to buy hog rings. Zip ties are easier to use and work just as well.
When you install the backrest portion, zip the back before you secure the bolsters to the front of the frame. Some people have secured the bolsters first and tried to zip it after and tore the zipper.

If you decide to go for it. Post up pics!

I swapped out mine on my previous GS. All Black with the Alacantra center. Excellent quality and super cheap to the other alternatives out there. I purchased their synthetic leather and it felt like real leather.

I didn't use any steam to install and they had some wrinkles. After sometime sitting in the hot sun to relax the wrinkles they looked great.

Here is some shots of mine:
Thinking about purchasing them again for my Z06
