I agree with most here...but take this into consideration...
If it is free....like at any Costco, .....I would not pay to have this done.
If it is convenient
then go for it, that is why I have it.
and it does no harm either....
Got both sets of tires at Costco, so I got it for free...don't pay money for it. The big advantage is that it's dry, not really that it's nitrogen.
This Vette's the only car I've used nitrogen on. I also get it for free, in fact the only reason I use it is because it was given for free, so why not. Compared to all my other vehicles, I rarely need to add any pressure, this one holds pressure better and does so on all four corners. That could be attributable to the tires and wheels I have having a better seal and/or to the nitrogen. If I was really curious I could deflate them and refill with air and see how it goes, but that aint going to happen. As long as its free and easy to get, I'll continue to use it.
the main pro is little to no pressure change in the tire, check your pressure on a cold morning, then drive it 30 or so miles and check it again, if its air you will see a decent pressure change, not so with nitrogen. that's the only benefit.
I use it in my Jeep Grand Cherokee because that's what it came with. I like it because the pressure is stable regardless of the outside air temp. A down side is if you need to add pressure for some reason you must use nitrogen. If you use air the N it negates the benefits of the N.
