C6 rear differential replacement
Hey guys I just replaced my rear differential with a upgraded one. I took pictures of how to do it the easy way in 4 hours. If anyone wants information on this let me know.

I have tried to post pictures but no luck. Can someone tell me how to on this site. I am pretty new to this site, I have had corvettes for years. Just want to help anyone that is going to do this job. Let me know how to post pictures and I will do the rest. Thanks

C6 differential removal the easy way
Ok guys check this out, the pictures show everything but I will go over it also. Leave the axles attached to the hubs, drop the sub frame as one piece see photo. Remove mufflers and center pipes and torque tube cover. Allow the differential to drop 2 inches only, that's all you need to clear the top bolts. Pull the differential straight back till the shaft clears. Special note: make sure you buy the large O ring that seal the differential to the back of the transmission. See the picture of the O ring needed it's on the shaft just for the picture. It goes on the transmission side you will see it after differential is removed. Really it's not to bad doing it this way. I had straps holding the axles out of my way. If you have any question please ask me.
