I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I like chrome. The shinier the better.

Chrome just screams cruiser/wax queen......I can't take it seriously on a high performance car. Black is just all business.

I watch the show overhaulin nearly everyday, Chip Foose makes and or restores some of the nicest cars around. Correct me if I'm wrong but I have never seen them put a set of black wheels on any car. lol

I have had black wheels, white, orange, bronze, red.......It really just depends on the car. What color the car is, the stance of the car, the wheel choice ect....Everyone has their opinions and cup of tea.

I guess one of the best way to describe black wheels is kinda like a Rat Rod. It just looks like someone ran out of $$$ when they were customizing their ride and couldn't afford to buy a decent set of wheels. Albeit I must admit that a rat Rod looks more like someone didn't have enough $$$ to even get started. Either way they kinda go hand in hand, both styles completely ruin the looks of any vehicle.
