Notice that it is not the market driving up prices, but the government. Same for new cars.
Not to sound stupid (no comments) but do you think it's to deter people to buy less ammo? Whenever the government gets involved in ANYTHING, it's evil.

Easy buddy, you don't need a heart attack over some OBOZO lover. Or worse yet, HILLARY.
Just keep saying to yourself "I know that Trump is a self promoting buffoon, but we can't put the selection of several Supreme Court justices in Hillary Clinton's hands". That's why I intend to vote for Trump. Besides, like him or not, he is a successful business man and Hillary has been successful at almost nothing.

The tyrants know that they cannot get away with an outright civilian disarmament program -- which is the ultimate goal. The leaders of the anti-gun movement openly admit this.
But they can chisel away at an armed citizenry (which they've been doing for a century already) through various other laws. The tentacles of government extend into nearly every facet of life now.
So they can't get away with the outright confiscation of firearms, but they can get away with controlling the supply and cost of ammunition. Without a ready and reasonable supply of ammo, of course, an armed citizenry is useless against a tyrannical government -- which was the original idea of the RKBA.
Better put a lid on this Bruze, I shouldn't have said anything in this section cause they are among us

I'm just explaining the Constitution to those who are unfamiliar with it. And for the clueless: The idea of an armed citizenry as a check on government (or royal) power goes back long before the founders of this country were born; they just borrowed the idea from The Old World.
Nothing wrong with discussing American history . . . right? Oops I forgot, the Founders were evil, white, homophobic, women-hating racists.
Wait a minute! What does any of this have to do with batteries? Nothing.
Actually, I think you can correct it in the title. Try doing Edit, then Go Advanced and see if that doesn't work.
I tried it Dawg as-per your suggestion.....I couldn't get it to work, but then again i'm no wiz at this stuff to be sure. Would be nice to know if it does for future references.
