Finally got snow here in NE Ohio. Oil change, left it on jacks and pulled the wheels off, hardwired the tender to the jump box location under the hood and put on tender.

Hopefully a whole mess of little projects before spring, just need to find the time.

Looked at my 2011 Grand Sport longingly and shed a tear as I cannot drive it on the salty, icy roads here in north Kentucky.

a little bit -- too cold and rainy here to drive the Grand Sports when I have a nice X5 for the ugly weather... we can still golf year around which helps offset the Winter Sucks

  • Finished up my seat covers and console cover, was originally all Cashmere and I wanted to keep a hint of cashmere in the seats. Napa leather with Alcantara inserts.

Not this weekend, but I copied a bunch of photos from my wife's phone to mine and found this shot she took when I was doing my brakes a while back.

New rotors and pads all the way around my 2008 (Z51).

Did the Ranger method on my clutch fluid. I have a turkey baster but was afraid the fluid would come back out too easily due to the fairly large diameter hole, so a few weeks ago I ordered a couple of 100ml syringes which worked perfectly. Nice clear fluid now and the clutch stroke both down and back up does seem smoother. Brake bleed will be next...

Default New radio

On Saturday, i finally installed my new Kenwood 9903S in my 13 GS. Bought the radio back summer of 2017...

And today, I finished up the rear view camera.

Hope to wash soon and then do front camera next weekend.

I replaced my tensioner pulleys and idler pulleys and belts.
I have read several times on here that GM put very little grease in the factory installed parts so I replaced them as a preventative measure.
The main belt tensioner pulley had a black powder falling out of it when I set it down on my work bench so I have to assume something was wearing out in there.
Easy DIY.

FYI, Rock Auto was almost half price for OEM parts (compared to buying them on Amazon or Auto Zone). Ordered the parts on Wednesday and they were delivered on Friday.

looks like you have TWO sets of back up lines. there should be an option in the head unit to turn one set off. if not, you can snip the one little wire on your camera. unless you actually WANT both sets of lines ?

thanks. Read both manuals and seems I have both radio and camera lines turned on. Any recommendation on which one to leave on?

which ever is easier? I believe the thicker ones are the camera, the thin lines box is the deck. The ones on the deck are adjustable and you should be able to "fine tune" to your application. If you can easily access the camera switch, I'd probably turn the camera lines off.

maybe they it both ways to see what you like better
