Installed LED switchback DRLs and yellow LED fog bulbs. Really loving this new look! Got the bulbs and resistor for 70 from Amazon, all very high quality kit. Quite happy and ready to take out out tomorrow after a good wash.

Replaced both hood supports. Now it holds itself up again

Also installed the NPP in a box kit. I installed the mufflers a year ago without the kit to swap modes.

We're in the midst of a drought, but we got .8" of rain today, and more coming tomorrow.

So not a great weekend for Vetting.

Anybody cooking hot dogs today?

Spent Friday getting it cleaned up for an all Vette show this weekend.

I think I heard them say there were 170 Vettes entered.

I flew in to Kansas City, bought a 2012 Torch Red M6 GS on Monday -- drove it home on I-90 to Seattle. Got home on Friday and this weekend cleaned it all up from the road dirt and grime of 2000 miles. She looks so nice next to my black 2013 M6 GS. pics to come later.

Dude everything happened so quick.

I had plans for my gs. Was going to put a blower this winter lol.

But I kept getting the news feed on my Facebook on the Grand sport lol. And then I started to watch youtube videos lol.

Then I couldn't wait for the manual grand sport to arrive so got a leftover '16 z06 instead lol

Literally it all happened in a couple of days. Only real goodbye I made to my gs was on the drive to the dealer. But I had a feeling it would be the last drive lol.

But at least I kept my word on never getting a base c7. No way. Wide body all the way.

And the tails I'm still getting used to. Lol. It looks weird.

But the rest of the car is incredible.

Mine is just sitting there this weekend, maybe I'll go wash it. It's almost out of gas and the local station is completely out of gas. Went for a motorcycle ride this morning and most of the stations are out of premium. They fixed the Colonial Pipeline on Wednesday but the shortages seem to be getting worse. Think I'll drive the truck next week, it's 3/4 full and perfectly happy with regular.

Default Corvette Weekend

The wife and I, along with 3 other 'Vettes, and 6 other people, took a nice cruise to Galena Il. Drove on some spectacular curvy roads on the way there. Altogether 376 miles on 13.5 gallons of gas.....including some "spirited" driving....27.8 MPG!!! These Grand Sports were made to be driven on these curvy roads. A couple of Bikers left 1/2 hour before us, on these twisty roads. 50 miles later, we caught them! A few of our group, found out some things these cars will do! Great times....not soon to be forgotten!
