Question about A/C system
About to tackle the replacement of my A/C components tomorrow and had a couple quick questions...
1) Orifice tube. Why is there no information on this? O'Reilly guy said I don't have one, they couldn't find a number in their system. I have a new expansion valve ready to install, but no orifice tube. I know for a fact that I have one, I pulled it out to check it's condition last week. It was covered in very fine silverish sludge. Does anyone have a part number?
2) Bought a flush kit. Anyone have tips for its use? I assume I simply remove the compressor, condenser, and expansion valve, then shoot it through each line till the other end comes out clean. Then repeat with compressed air. Am I missing something?
