When replacing do i need to drain the oil? Thanks everyone..

it is located on the top / back of your engine .. so you do not need to drain any oil

Oil temp sensor question
Umm.......he's asking about the TEMP sensor, not the pressure sender.

The TEMP sensor is in the oil pan, passenger side rear. Here's a post with a graphic:

I was thinking the same. While it could be replaced quickly so as not to lose too much oil, some will be lost and alot would be lost if the oil was hot because the hot oil would keep fingers from putting the new sensor back in. The sensor is in the oil, in the pan.

Assuming it wasn't hot, very little oil would be lost swapping it quickly. I would just check the level after.
