I have a 2007 z51 in montery Red coupe with cashmere interior except for the rear area which is black inside. Car has 3lt package. The seats are both both. The seats just don't seem to ever seem really clean and nice. Car has cashmere carpet in the seating area and on the back rest area. The hatch area is in black. Don't know it it came that way as i only got it 2 years ago. Been thinking about redoing the seats in some other color either black or a Montery Red but i think they don't make that color in leather. Also would like to replace the front carpeting in black most likely. But wonder how stupid it would look with the cashmere door panels. The console lid is in cashmere but that is easy to replace.
So i am looking to get some opinions from you all out the
This isn't exactly what you're asking about but it might give you some ideas. This is the very rare 4LT Cashmere. I'm looking for other posts closer to what you asked about:
I would go with black mats in the front and possibly black and cashmere (2-tone) seats. (Black surround/bolsters with cashmere middles on seat and back)

I have a Victory Red Vette with Cashmere interior and didn't really care for it. I have changed quite a bit of the cashmere out for the black. Did the seats (interior innovations), carpet (dyed this weekend), center console and door trim (redline goods and Apsis).
I did try the black mats but just didn't care for the look. My seats are black with cashmere inserts and the carpet was reversed. I think it looks better now with black carpet and cashmere mats. It matches the seats now.
I will say that I think Monterey looks great with the Cashmere. I have seen some with color match items in the interior and it really looks great. Much better than my VR.
I dunno, I rather like the cashmere interior. When I bought my '07 two years ago, I was really in the hunt for black but am glad I ended up with cashmere. It gives it a super-clean appearance, and tends to make the interior seem bigger vs. black.
My biggest worry initially was keeping it clean. But, not a big deal. I just don't wear my workboots when I'm in it.
But, like others, I like the black mats. Cashmere mats would be hard to keep clean, especially considering my lifestyle.
Here's some photos that might help you decide what might or might not work for you
With the stock cashmere interior with black accents and aftermarket color matched items, I was having a fit trying to tie everything together. I also did not like the all cashmere door panels so have been changing those as well.
Original cashmere/cashmere mats with the red color matched items.
Then black/cashmere seats with cashmere mats
Updated seats with black mat
recent change to black carpet with cashmere mats. which I like since it matches the seat color pattern.
Here's what I've done with the door panel so far but this is still under construction lol. It's ok for now but will likely change.
