Does anyone know what this could be?
For some strange reason when I roll my window up (driver side) it makes a horrific sound. It sounds like there’s rocks scratching the window all the way up. It doesn’t do this every time, it’s pretty random.. It causes no damage to the window whatsoever, which I’m glad, but I would like to know what it is so I can have it fixed..

If there's no scratching or marking on the glass - then it seems the noise must be coming from the mechanism below. Pop off the door panel & watch as you raise & lower the window.
The source of the noise should be apparent - then oil it!
