Mine does the same thing, the Corvette "specialist" at my local dealer says pay attention to the DIC but it shows 27 when both of the guages I use say 30.
Be interesting to see more opinions.
Every post I have read where there is a low pressure message on the DIC, that mysteriously goes away, has responses saying that the car must be driven a bit for the TPMS sensors to transmit the actual pressure to whatever module reads them.
If that is true, would the module simply hold the last pressure read? Or am I missing something?
That would make more sense to me. During service, the tech filled the tires to 31 on the DIC when I had filled them to 30psi with my guage, 3 lbs difference from what the DIC said. When I got the car out yesterday for a drive, the tire pressure read 34. Maybe driving it is the key.

The purpose of the TPMS system is to tell the driver when a tire has a leak because the leak can't be seen visually with the runflat tires. As such, it really doesn't matter if some sensors are a couple of pounds off of what a handheld gauge says. Use a good gauge to fill the tires, then use the DIC readings to tell if one tire has a leak...simple.

The manual states to use a good quality pressure gauge to check pressure and the TPMS to monitor pressure. Maybe that's what the M means
FWIW... I use the one shown as #1 and have had very accurate results over the years. And, you can find them online at what I believe are very reasonable prices.

I have 3 of thew #1. 2 show same the 3rd is .5 lbs different all 3 are about 2 lbs more that DIC
My TPMS reads 1 lbs. lower than my digit gauge. The gauge I have is a higher end Craftsman that was advertised as being accurate within .5 lbs. It's never been calibrated though.
Idrove it about 20 miles back from Discount Tire after putting new tires on. This was Friday. Then drove about 1 mile to a car show Saturday. I will check again when I take the cover off later this week
My TMPS sensors are now 10 years old and still working. There is about 1 psi difference between the sensor and a reliable pressure gage in my case.
Over the years of C6 gen, there've been many threads on TPMS/DIC vs. hand held gauges. The general consensus is that the DIC is off maybe by 1 psi, or possibly 2. Not more.
Personally, I have about eight of the old pencil gauges, and two relatively inexpensive digital gauges. Just for kicks, I tried all of them (weird ). They were all w/in 1 psi of the DIC reading. I doubt if it's the age of the TPMS on the car, but it could be.
