Keep the C6 base as it is. It's the most cost-effective route, and the C6 lines are sexy enough.

If you're hell-bent on changing the look (to something like a GS or Z06 widebody), then 1) sell your base and 2) buy a GS or Z06. It's the cheapest route by far.

If you are talking about kits other the OE wide body parts, I like the Geiger front end for the base C6. From Germany.

The black one on this Florida distributor's site: http://www.extreme-corvette.com/8.html

If I ever crash mine, I would look into that one. Don't need sides or rear...happy with those lines.

No offense, but that's the most fast and furious front end for a corvette I've ever seen.

Title still says C6 base when you go to sell. No 427 under the hood either.

Exactly. Sounds like two reasons to leave it alone or sell the base and buy an actual GS or Z06 if that's what someone is after.

Some of us like the Coupe but want the bigger rear tires. Before I did mine the rear end would get squirrelly upon sudden full throttle, now it stays straight and hooks up very well.
OP...RPI makes one that comes pre painted and several forum members have been happy with them. I believe they are the least expensive route. You can expect to spend $5-$7 grand after new wheels and tires ( if you do the install yourself).
(The ZO6 and ZR1 are FANTASTIC. If you decide to sell the coupe that's what I recommend).
Good luck with your project. When it's completed you will be proud of the accomplishment.
