Do you have a floor jack and jack stands? I would use them to get the car on the ground and then try to figure out what is wrong with the Quick Jack. Messing with it with a car on it could be dangerous.
Have you figured out what is holding it there yet? If it is locked in the fully extended position can you try bleeding the system? I'm going to check with another lift owner right now for you...
Get a floor Jack and find a solid jacking point on the subframe to take the weight off the failed Jack. You may need to use a Jack stand to prop up front while you do the same in the rear
@Bruze, it is an ugly corvette. I know a bunch of guys have quickjacks or talk about them that is why i posted here. And the feedback is amazing here! and yes, i do have a corvette
Thanks for the comments, the good news is after 24 hrs the lift FINALLY moved and the car was able to come down. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.
Once the car came down, the lift cannot lift a 150lb guy. I am unsure how they market this as a race application which it barely moves a kia optima.
I am still waiting on a followup call from QuickLift... but they were more concerned about getting interrupted on a hiking trip and barbecue... Thank god my weekend didnt have any issues
It sounds like something in the hydraulic system is plugged up. Maybe some debris got in there somehow. Let Bendpak/Quickjack have a go at making it right.
I've owned my BL-5000 since they first came out and I love it. The only problem I had was some air that needed to get bled out when it was new. I called them and we solved that by me standing on the jacks and pumping them up and down about 20 times. Since then I've used it about a dozen times with no issues at all.

This is why I suggested that he try to bleed the system...I own a big Bendpak and they have always been helpful with issues. Too bad it's a Holiday weekend. Something minor I'm sure.
