I just put a new head unit in with a front and rear camera. I forget the brand, but I got everything from Crutchfield and they were great. They will steer you in the right direction.
I put a rear camera in when I replaced the OEM navigation unit with a Panasonic HU a few years ago. Then followed that with a front camera. Both cameras were no-name units off of e-b*y. There are plenty of videos on YT to help with the install. There are also videos you can watch to see how to remove the center console and associated items. Both of the cameras work great as far as I am concerned. They certainly show me what I need to see, lol. Overall I’d rate the front camera install about a 3 out of 10 on the difficulty scale. It is not hard, but I actually drilled up under the front nose to mount the camera instead of using double-sided tape. IMO, it’s a much cleaner install. Running the power cable/wires from the camera up past the radiator, down the side of the engine bay and up under the windshield and door gaskets, etc., took a little planning, but it’s not hard to do. Take your time and you will be fine. Good luck...👍🏻

I don't understand people hitting the nose on a curb. Corvette is short so you can easily stay a foot away from the curb and still be in the parking space.
