Seat Cover - Mid section only
Anyone seen a cover or replacement for the middle part of the seat (the part that your middle and lower back rests against) on a basic C6? I don't want new seat covers by any means, just wondering if i could switch out that middle part for a different color or cover it, for a unique look.

You can order the seat back middle section in several colors from Gene Culley of Cultrag (a forum vendor).
It is possible to swap out just the back middle piece with the seats still in the car.
I'll post some photos tomorrow.

Here is what the seat looks like behind the back center section. There are 2 plastic clips that catch metal brackets on the back of the seat insert.
You would have pull out the top portion of the seat center insert as you pull up to slip the metal brackets out of the plastic clips.
NOTE: This would be AFTER you take out the 2 black plastic retainers that hold a FLAP to the back of the seat frame.

The only way to do that is to take your center section out and take it to a local auto upholstery shop and have them make one for you using your current center section as a pattern.
There is no OEM white, but there is a 4LT color called LINEN that is an 'off white' color.
