Accent light
Hi, I have a 06 c6 targa, with the accent light under the passenger sun shade. I just replaced the bulb with a led and new resistor, but doesnt light up. Tested the circuit with a 7.4 lipo and it lights up just fine. Does anyone know if this light is supposed to be on all the time or just when its dark outside? because in that case, thats the problem since I've only tried the led in the middle of the day

It is called an ambient light. I don't recall mine being on during daylight. I assume it is connected to the headlight circuit.
There is an ambient light sensor on the dash:
"The ambient light sensor supplies the body control module (BCM) with a signal for daytime conditions and for low light conditions."

Later models eliminated it, so mine doesn't have one (2013) 
Either 1 of 2 things :
a. it only comes on at night. Try covering the sensor on the dash to test it.
b. You have the polarity of the LED in backwards. Try flipping the LED 180* and reinsert.
I would try A first, then B.
