It's 2013, sat for two months, and went to start, battery dead, replaced battery, still won't start.

Might be a bad battery or bad connection. Check at battery and starter. Might also check ground. GL
I had a new battery that the neg cable clamp would not tighten unless I pushed it down very hard.

Plus year, auto/man, etc...
At least put a volt meter on the battery terminals and then the clamps to make sure the battery has power and it is getting to the clamps. You did tighten the clamps with the proper cone nuts????

It'a automatic and yes the terminal are clean, battery was tested at time of purchase, everything in the car works, BUT it doesn't want to do anything when stepping on the brake and pushing the start button.

Ensure your fob battery is good also. Try starting the car with the fob in the glove box slot.

This or the switch is just sticky and not releasing to enable the start circuit to be satisfied.
The brake pedal is hard to press because of the lost vacuum at the booster. It maybe a matter of more force is needed on the brake pedal in order to activate the brake safety switch.

A couple of other things to consider. The trans neutral safety switch, make sure the car is in park positively, or maybe try putting it in neutral.
The brake position sensor might be used as a safety switch also, and if it is, they have been known to loose it's syn with the control module, needing re-calibration.

Yesterday had the car towed to stealership, let them make it run.
Will report back on results, car still has aftermarket warranty.
