Default Vert owners - wind restrictor

Have any of you tried a Wind restrictor in your Vert. If so what are your thoughts? Does it inhibit the movement of the Seat ETC?

We have had one for close to a year. No problems no restrictions on seats . Easy to install,
And cut the wind , but not all of it.

Shop around. You can buy it considerably cheaper than that. Mine has Corvette Jake etched on it.

To answer the OP's questions - I like mine and it does cut down on the backwash wind considerably. It's much more pleasant on highway trips with it in place.

Default It works...

I kind of balked at the price at first... but after having my wife's long hair blow all over the place and unable to have a conversation at highway speeds w/o shouting... bit the bullet. I have comments and pix on another post on this product.

When the seats are all the way back, the inside back edge of the headrest will touch the plexi when someone is sitting in the seat. This will cause a bit of "squeaking" when going over bumps, rough roads, etc. Best way to resolve is just make small incremental fwd-movements until it stops. Small gripe considering that with the top down... and windows up*... there is hardly any air movement in the cabin... you can have normal voice conversations at 70 mph. The only time it won't be so great is if there are very heavy cross-winds that blow-in from the side.

* Windows down... 35-55 mph, there will be some turbulence, but it is still better than w/o the WR.

Haven't seen the need . I don't think the wind in the cockpit is that bad.

Check out the forum link that olyc6 included comments and pix on another post . Lots of good info.

Also check out the MFG website http://kingpennindustries.com/WindR/...l.aspx?wrid=16

They also offer a glow plate for a Coupe.

Had it in my car for over a year. It works great. Before I had it, my wife would give me a hassel anytime I wanted to drive with the top down. After I got it, it made a big difference and the wife didn't even mind the top down at highway speeds with the windows up and you could actually talk to each other while traveling around 70 without yelling. The other good thing is that it stays in the car when you put the top up and down not like some other brands.
