Run Flats
I was all set to buy Michelin Pilot Sport A/S run flats and then find out not available in Canada. Have been reading reviews on Michelin Super Sport RF and Firestone Firehawks Wide Oval RF. Seems the Michelin get a bad rap for short life while Firehawks get longer treadware.
Guys who are using either brand please chime in as need new tires for my 10,000 km road trip.

C6 of Year Finalist (appearance mods) 2019
I had some Fire Stone Firehawk runflats on the base C6 coupe I just sold and I was really pleased with them. Much better than the Good Years that they replaced.

Are you coming to the US for your road trip? Set up an appointment at a tire shop early in the trip and make arrangements to have the Michelin's you want put on. Beyond that, I've read a lot of positive reviews about the Firestones. I don't have any personal experience with them. I put a set of the Michelins on my 07 coupe and really liked them for the 20k miles I drove on them before trading the car off.

Melting Slicks
++ on the Firestones Wide Oval RFT, use them on my DD; drove on them in the winter -7F, wearing very well...
Only sized for the base models though.
