While you may not have a season called "winter" in Florida, it must be a real pain in the azz to have to keep picking up your roofs in Alabama after the hurricane season. Still, everyone who doesn't live here in California seems to think that the whole place is shaking to pieces every day due to earthquakes. Another benefit of the need to fill a 24/7 news cycle. BTW, we don't have a real "winter" here either. Some of the native indian tribes didn't even wear clothes. The missionaries stamped that out quickly.

Although I do see a few brave souls with their top down every now and then
